Create a New Page Category in Ciriks

To add a new category for pages in the Ciriks system, follow the step-by-step guide below. This tutorial will help you manage your categories efficiently and in a user-friendly manner.

1. Access the Pages Section

First, navigate to the Content section and then click on the Pages option.

2. Add a New Category

At the top of the page, click on the Add Category button to open the new category creation window.

3. Create the Category

In the opened window, enter the necessary information for the new category. There are two main sections that must be completed:

Category Title

This title not only specifies the name of the category (such as Main Pages, Products, Blogs, etc.) but also determines the third segment of the URLs for the pages in this category.

The URL structure will be as follows:

https://your-domain/pages/category-name/page-name




Parent Category

In this section, you need to specify whether your new category is a main category or a subcategory of an existing one.

If you are creating a main category, select the Parent Category option.

If the new category is a subcategory, choose the name of the parent category from the list.

4. Configure the Slug

There is no need to enter a value in the Slug field. After creating the category, the slug will automatically be generated based on your title for the complete URL. If necessary, you can edit it later.

5. Save the Category

After entering all the required information, click the Save button to create your new category.

6. Manage and Organize Categories
